Post-Review/Free Posting

I started reading Unearthly by Cynthia Hand a few days ago. I was already feeling sick after reading the one page prologue. There were two words in my mind: come on! A girl saving a guy. Seems a lot like Falling Under. And I was rolling my eyes all over after reading that book although I rated it a four. The last thing I need is have a déjà vu.

There were lots of description in Unearthly, from the visions that the protagonist had to the new home, and the new school. The way of writing those descriptions were the same. You step into the threshold of whatever the first time and the first thing that you see is all spilled over in the page for description purposes. Boring. By then, not only am I feeling sick in the stomach, I think I have a headache as well. Introduction was not that all alluring and since it is a young adult book, you can pretty much assume what is going to happen next. Yes, every book has its own development. However, I am losing interest to find out how it is going to progress with its planned development. Ugh!
