Post-Review

On Vampire Diaries episode 21--Isobel.

(Kind of dislike her. She kept on batting her eyelids and it seemed so unreal. Yuck.)
Isobel met Alaric in the bar and asked him to help her arrange a meeting with Elena. He did not agree to it but was forced to. Damon asked Ric questions about Isobel and was angry when Ric did not ask any of the questions. Elena wanted to meet Isobel and said she'd regret it if she don't.

Stefan was at the pools table watching closely. Elena used his vampiric-hearing to communicate with him, who noded and smiled until Isobel appeared. One of her words to Elena was why she chose Stefan and not Damon (yeah, I am also keen to know after all the changes Damon made), or did she enjoy them both like Katherine. Elena was shocked. Damon and Ric was outside, with Damon pacing and arguing that they should be inside the Grill. Ric told him that Isobel wanted none of them to be in there. It's good to see Damon so worried for Elena. Hee!

Isobel wanted Jonathan Gilbert's invention and wanted Elena to get it from Damon or else she would be on a killing spree. Bonnie saw Elena stood up with tears spilling out but Bonnie stopped short when she saw Stefan. Jeremy was anxious about Anna as she just disappeared without giving him a call.

Damon was in Isobel's house, playing cards with her whoever. (It appeared to be a strip game.) He was losing and was about to strip his pants when Isobel returned. She made her whoever leave, plus a few small catch-ups before moving on to the device. This is my favorite qoute from Damon.

Now that I have your attention, listen up. You do not come into my town -- threaten people that I care about. Going after Elena? Bad move (said with drag)(hey, I like it!). You leave her alone or I will rip you to bits because I do believe in killing the messenger. You know why? Because it sends a message. (Lifted Isobel's head and slammed against the floor. Nice!) Katherine wants something from me? You tell the little bitch to come get it herself.

Bonnie went to the Gilbert's and asked about what happened to Elena at the Grill. Told her, and they met at some place in school. They took a look at Emily's spellbook and Bonnie told Elena that the Jonathan's invention was actually a weapon to kill vampires. Isobel appeared in front of Elena and demanded to have the weapon. First, she used her whoever (Frank, not the one playing with Damon) who stepped onto some board where Matt was under. The guys rushed to lift the board up but it was useless until Stefan came to help with his vampiric strength. Isobel wanted to kill Jeremy and Elena took that as a warning. They had to save Jeremy!
Another favorite qoute when the Isobel and Elena talked: I think you're underestimating how much Damon cares about you. (said from Isobel)

Bonnie and Elena was in the Salvatores' house, debating with Damon handing the invention over to save Jeremy. He said "NO", he had his own way of saving Jeremy. Bonnie had a way to remove the power of the device but Damon did not trust her as he tried to kill her once. But it looked like he had the weakness for Elena and trusted her. When the process of removing it was done, Damon and Stefan accompanied Elena to hand over the device.

Isobel did not kill Jeremy and when asked why she risked with Damon that he would give Elena the device. Another favorite qoute from Isobel: Cause he's in love with you. Damon glanced at Stefan (uh-oh. Damon exposed!). After Isobel was gone, Stefan hugged Elena, who looked over at Damon (who could not take his eyes off her). Stefan knew, and looked at his brother who could not help but walk away. Sad.
