On Vampire Diaries--Blood Brothers (Episode 20)
(Hey! It's like being in a danger zone. Because the show is going to end in episode 22.)

Stefan was locked in the Salvatore dungeon and was in a semi-conscious state as he recalled about Katherine being arrested in 1864. In this episode, the whole story of 1864 was revealed.

Damon and Stefan was hiding behind the grass, watching Katherine being taken away. Stefan told Damon to rescue her as he distracted the Councils (is that what you call them?). Stefan returned and helped Damon while they tried to untie the ropes around her. Shortly, Damon was shot in his back and collapsed. Stefan was shocked and just as immediately, he got that shot too. He collapsed and looked from Damon to Katherine. When he woke up (he's alive from the shot), he realized that his wound healed and came to know that Emily saved him. Damon was at the lake, shirtless.

Darlene: Ha ha. Durh.

He said he wanted to die because he knew that Katherine was gone. Katherine was what he lived for and pushed him to turn into a vampire. But they were not yet vampire. Both brothers had to drink blood to fully become a vampire. Stefan went to find his father at night and overheard a conversation between his father and Johnathan Gilbert. After Gilbert left, Salvatore told Stefan that he was the one who shot them. Stefan was appalled because he could not believe that he killed his own sons. His father broke something into 2 and went after Stefan with a stake. When he came to know that his sons were involved with the vampire (Vampire Katherine), he decided to kill them. Stefan dodged and his father staked himself in his stomach when he clashed onto the wall. Stefan helped to pull it out and could not resist the blood. He tasted them and fed on them. Ew. So, he became a vampire and was an unfilial son who drank his father's blood. He went back to find Damon and told him about what happened. He even brought a young lady along for Damon. He persuaded him to drink and helped him by biting into the lady's neck. Damon could not resist it and drank, becoming a vampire.

He told Stefan that it would be an eternity of misery for HIM. Which was kind of unfair because it was not Stefan's fault that Katherine was caught. He was only there when she was caught.

Back to 2010, Isobel was back and found Alaric at the bar. How ironic. He just said he wanted no more of Isobel and there, she appeared.
