Isobel found Alaric and said Goodbye. Ironically, she had to compel him to do that.

Stefan was concerned about Isobel's words. So he approached Damon and warned him that history is not going to repeat when Elena was concerned. Damon said he treated her as a friend but Stefan did not believe it. He then told Stefan that John Gilbert was Elena's father and that stunned him. Guessed he should have figure that out earlier.

Bonnie told Caroline that she had done something bad to Elena and had let her down. So all of us know that Bonnie was referring to removing the power of Johnathan Gilbert's invention. Maybe Bonnie did something bad to it. Damn Bonnie.

PS Before Isobel left, she phoned John and wanted him to get rid of the Salvatore brothers for the sake of Elena. She was afraid that history might repeat itself and it would hurt Elena. I hope the both of them die.
